Store pick up orders: PLEASE CALL TO CHECK INVENTORY AND STORE HOURS PRIOR TO DRIVING LONG DISTANCE .If you are within driving distance, you are welcome to visit one of our shops and pick out your order. Most chimineas will fit in the back seat of your car. Jumbo models may require a jeep or larger vehicle.If you want a specific model, please let us know in advance so we could have one there for you. Shipping Information: We do not include shipping in our price because we try to find the least cost option and many people pick up merchandise at our shops. However, some "Specials" include shipping. This is indicated by the specific items.Wood, Candle Chimineas, Pottery & Accessories:Most small items are shipped via UPS. Shipping rates vary according to your zip code. Shipments to APOs must fall within US postal guidelines for weight and size. We do not ship internationally.Chimineas: Domestic Only The continious 48 only, we do not ship chimineas to Hawaii or Alaska.Domestic UPS Shipments: (Small and Medium Chimineas) Small and medium chimineas are shipped UPS. Shipping rates for the small chimineas depend upon your zip code. Shipping for the medium chimineas shown on the "Specials" page is included in the price within the continental USA. Domestic Freight Shipments: (Large Chimineas)NOTE: Due to increased shipping cost, some freight shipments must be quoted. Especially shipments to the west coast (SW & NW) must be quoted. Large chimineas must be carefully packed, palletized and shipped by truck. We receive discounted shipping rates with several carriers and do our best to provide the lowest rates possible. Shipping to a business or terminal is the least expensive way to go; however, home delivery is available at an additional charge. This is the freight companies charge for scheduling an appointment and delivering to a home, not ours. Also, delivery is to the curbside (front of building or loading area) - extra services such as inside delivery or liftgate service are subject to extra charges. If you request and sign for extra services that are added to the freight bill, you will be responsible for them. When in doubt, it is always best to ask the driver if a service has an additional cost.The minimum shipping cost to a business or terminal location is $75 ; home delivery is an ADDITIONAL $30.00. We will give you an accurate shipping quote upon ordering, based upon your zip code. Shipments to the West Coast (NW & SW) must be quoted. Some areas such as islands and large cities (ex. Martha's Vineyard & Manhattan) are slightly higher.Depending upon size, two can be shipped to the same address for an additional $40.00. (Have a friend order one and split the shipping!).NOTE: Additional services ordered by the customer will be billed to the customer. Additional services include inside delivery, lift gate delivery, set up etc. International Air Shipments: No longer available for chimineas. |
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT FREIGHT CHIMINEA DELIVERIESEven though we take special care in packing each chiminea for safearrival, there is always the chance of breakage during transit. Prior to signing off on your delivery, open your chiminea and inspect it. If your chiminea is damaged, refuse shipment, indicate the breakage on the bill of lading and then contact us. We will ship out a replacement to you and handle the freight claim. The driver should not mind waiting for you to inspect....after all you are paying for his services! If you have a driver that will not allow you to inspect, please indicate on the bill of lading that the package was accepted without inspection. If there is damage after the driver leaves, contact us within 48 hours.Every chiminea that we ship is insured; however, a claim could be rejected by the freight company unless damage or non-inspection is indicated. Otherwise, the freight company will consider the freight to have arrived safely. In this case, we will be happy to assist you in filing a freight claim, but are not responsible for filing the claim or replacing the merchandise.

Returns:
UPS Shipments: Items shipped by UPS may be returned within 5 days of receipt in their original condition and packaging. A credit (refund) will be issued upon return. UPS charges are not refundable. Please call our toll free number for authorization. 877-506-2741
Freight charges will be deducted from the selling price of any returned item that shipped "freight Included". Freight included does not mean "free freight".
UPS Damaged Shipments: Damaged shipments must be reported to us within five days of receipt. Once reported, please retain the shipment and packing materials for five business days, as required by UPS. We will file a claim and promptly send out a replacement. Call our toll free number for assistance 877-506-2741.
Freight Shipments: Due to the high cost of return shipping, freight shipments may not be returned. Since most people do not have the ability to palletize and repack a chiminea, we recommend that the item be inspected upon delivery. A large Chiminea cannot be returned by UPS.
Freight Damaged Shipments: As indicated above, it is best to inspect and refuse damaged shipments. If unable to inspect upon arrival, damaged freight shipments must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. We will arrange for replacement. A damaged chiminea is one that is cracked or broken in pieces. Small dents or slight imperfections in the clay are not damages; rather they are natural characteristics of hand crafting that add uniqueness to each individual piece. Freight charges are not refundable.
UPS Shipments: Items shipped by UPS may be canceled anytime prior to shipping. Once shipped, merchandise may be returned for credit. Freight charges will not be refunded.
Freight Shipments: Once shipped, freight shipments may not be canceled. This is due to the high cost of shipping. Freight is not refundable. If damaged, we will send out a replacement.
